Ryan Tackett
I am a senior at BGSU studying in Digital Arts with a minor in Asian Studies. My main focus in art has always been in character design. Ever since I was young, I've had a deep interest in the development of characters and their designs. What I want to be able to do is create my own characters, develop their worlds, and tell stories in those worlds! Aside from character design, I am also interested in comic crafting, fiction writing, game design, animation, and more!
Experience
College Career
I have spent around 5 years at my university, BGSU, developing my skills while in a wide variety of programs! These included physical art classes, installation/performance, storyboarding, and 2 digital painting courses.
Freelance
A lot of my free time goes into commission work for friends and online customers. I post a few times a month on my socials when I am open for work, then spend time with each person carefully crafting their ideal piece for them! I've worked freelance as a side job for around 6 years now!
Artist Collaborations
Occasionally, whether it be for school or personal work, I have been brought on for collaborative projects! I love working in new settings and enjoy getting to meet other artists as I feel there's a lot to learn from one another.
